Assistant Quality Manager (Hylife IBC)

Responsibilities

1. Be responsible in QA/QC tasks coordinating with internal QHSE and site production team
2. Ensure the review and implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection system
3. Assist in document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
4. Develop, recommend and monitor NCR’s and corrective and preventive actions Inspect and sign-off completed.
5. Inspect and sign-off completed work and/or work in progress phases to determine whether the work meets specifications and plan requirements with site production team
6. Assist production team to follow with the quality standard of our company requirements
7. Random check and oversee any incoming material receiving report for any anomalies with QHSE team
8. Create and follow the snag checklist as suitable for the construction project and follow up with actions from the findings to the site production manager/teams
9. Review project contract reviews to ensure it meets our standards and quality requirements
10. Oversee the calibration system of company tools and equipement
11. Ability to create a quality dashboard and maintain quality related metrics for management use and reporting
12. Collect statistics, analyze data and prepare reports and suggestions about the NCRs to be presented to the QHSE head
13. Perform other work QA QC tasks as assigned by the employer including QC audit checklist etc.
14. Ability to read and interpret supplier material documentation/ specification to ensure to meet the client or company requirements/ BOM

Qualifications

1. High Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering background with minimum 3 years of experience in QA QC and/or QMS role with construction/ manufacturing industry
2. Being able to work independent with minimal supervision and lead a team of people
3. Basic knowledge of Quality Assessment tools and Microsoft Office
4. Good communication skill problem solving and decision making is advantageous
5. Basic English skill for daily conversation (mostly use in documents and sometimes communicate)
6. ISO9001 and other quality standard knowledge would be greatly beneficial
7. Able to read and interpret basic CAD drawings in regards to any QA QC issues pertaining to site.
