Head of HR (Hylife IBC)

JOB SUMMARY

The Head of Human Resources is a key leadership position responsible for driving and implementing strategic HR initiatives that align with the holding company’s business objectives. In this role, you will oversee HR operations, talent management, employee engagement and compliance across all subsidiaries and ensure a cohesive HR strategy that improves organisational performance and culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Strategic Leadership & HR Governance
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that supports business growth and the long-term objectives of the organisation.
    • Oversee the HR governance framework for all subsidiaries and ensure it is aligned with parent company policies and fulfils legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Act as a strategic advisor to the Executive Committee on all HR related matters.
    • Establish and maintain a high-performance culture that fosters innovation, collaboration and accountability.
  2. Talent Management and Organisational Development
    • Lead the talent acquisition strategy to attract, retain and develop talent across all areas of the business.
    • Implement robust leadership development and succession planning programmes to build a strong pipeline for future leaders.
    • Drive organisational design and workforce planning initiatives for optimal efficiency and scalability.
    • Champion retention programmes, diversity and inclusion strategies and career development initiatives.
  3. Learning & Development (L&D)
    • Develop and oversee the organisation’s learning strategy to improve employee skills and leadership.
    • Implement training programmes, e-learning platforms and professional development initiatives that align with business objectives.
    • Introduce mentoring and coaching programmes to promote continuous professional development.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of L&D programmes using KPIs and performance analysis.
  4. Compensation, Benefits & HR Technology
    • Design and monitor competitive compensation and benefits programmes to improve employee retention and motivation.
    • Optimise HR systems and digital tools to drive data-driven decision making and automation of HR processes.
    • Conduct regular benchmarking to ensure the organisation remains an employer of choice in the industry.
  5. Performance Management & Building a Company Culture
    • Develop and implement a performance management framework that aligns employee goals with business priorities.
    • Foster a strong corporate culture by promoting the best HR practises, ethics and corporate values across all subsidiaries.
    • Lead initiatives to improve employee wellbeing, productivity and satisfaction in the workplace.
  6. HR Compliance & Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with labour laws, industry regulations and corporate governance guidelines in all jurisdictions.
    • Manage HR-related risks, including employee relations, workplace disputes and compliance matters.
    • Develop and implement crisis management and contingency plans for the workforce.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Human Resources Management, including at least 3 years in a Senior Human Resources position in a company or holding company.
  • In-depth knowledge of Talent Management, Compensation and Benefits, HR Transformation and Corporate Governance.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills and ability to influence leaders and stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing HR activities across multiple subsidiaries and dealing with complex organisational structures.
  • Knowledge of HR analytics, digital HR transformation and HR regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in industries such as Real Estate, Asset Management, Manufacturing or Corporate Holdings are a plus.
